Here are some examples of our last project. Each student made a power point of what they learned during our pilgrim unit during Social Studies. Everyone did a great job with their projects and had a fun time making them their own. Good Job Guys!

Holiday Play
Parents:
The Holiday Break is coming up in the next few weeks and we will be planning a party for the day before our break. We will be putting on a holiday play and would like for all of you to attend. Please bring a snack to share with the class and other parents. I will provide the paper goods and the drinks. It will be on Friday December 21st at approximatly 11:00 AM. It will be an early out day so shortly after the play your students will be able to go home. If you have any questions let me know. I will look forward to seeing you all in a few weeks.

My favorite Cartoon
Eeyore is my favorite cartoon character. I had Eeyore EVERYTHING, but I hated winnie the pooh. I had stuffed animals, tee-shirts, jewelery, pajamas, and all sorts of toys.

Getting to Know You
Hi Class! If you didnt know already my name is Mrs. Chambers! I am so excited for you all to be in my class and we are going to have an awesome year together.
To start with I want to tell you a little about myself and my background. I am originally from Rhode Island which is all the way on the other side of the country. Its also the smallest state in the US, did you all know that? Kinda cool huh?! I was born and raised there and my parents still live in Rhode Island. I am the youngest of 8 children so I have lots of older brothers and 1 older sister. Growing up I loved playing with my friends and going to school. Its hard to imagine that I was young like you once isnt it? I was though and I loved being a kid and having fun.
I got married 2 years ago and have wonderful husband who is also a teacher just like me. He teaches Health and coaches baseball in a high school. We dont have any children yet but we do have a cat named puma. She's a lot of fun to play with and is the perfect pet!
I really hope that we will have a fun year and we will get to do lots of exciting activities to help you learn and have fun at the same time. I really believe in using computers and other technology since I know you guys are so good at it. You might even be able to teach me some things! Feel Free to comment on this blog and tell me a little about yourself or if your brave you can even start your own blog and send me the link.
